About Sadie
Sadie grew up in trucking; her dad was an owner operator for more than 30 years. Growing up, Sadie spent time with her dad over the road and worked for her parents trucking company.
In 2012, Sadie joined CDLLife as one of the original CDLLife members and was instrumental in helping develop and grow CDLLife.com, where she worked for 3.5 years.
After leaving CDLLife, Sadie went to the carrier side of the industry and started a trucking company’s retention department and built the department from the ground up. While there, she also built the company’s marketing department and began building their recruiting ads. A short time later, Sadie took over as Director of Recruiting, Marketing, and Retention.
Sadie returned to CDLLife when the company’s app was being deployed to help build the company’s app community.
Sadie helped grow the app to 250,000 downloads. During that time, COVID happened, and Sadie knew she had an obligation to help drivers during that time, as truck stop restaurants and indoor dining shut down. Sadie partnered with a female driver for Fueling Our Heroes and spent 2 weeks delivering meals to drivers at rest areas and truck stops.
After leaving CDLLife, Sadie joined the NFI team as Director of Company Driver Recruiting and then later joined Artur Express as Director of Recruiting and Marketing and was later promoted to Vice President of Driver Relations.
In 2022, Sadie was named a Top Women To Watch in Trucking by the Women in Trucking Association.
